Acer Cuttings ?????

Hi Guys

I have a couple of specimen Acers in my garden, one of which is approx 10 meters tall. Can anyone give some suggestions as to the best way to take cuttings please. They are also covered in seeds which could be another option.

Thanks in anticipation

At ten metres high I doubt there will be any branches low enough to air layer. Seeds would be the way to go.

  • Guys, the branches are easily accessible which is the good news..... the bad news is what is "air- layering"???  image

  • Thanks for the tips and the video guy is good. When is the best time to do the layering ?

    Thanks again

  • Is it to late to do it now ?
