Advice on growing Sweet Peas

billy5billy5 Posts: 19

Following the instructions on the packet I have planted Sweet Pea seeds in 3" pots. three to each pot & watered them in. I have placed them in a warm spot, indoors. When the seedlings are established I intend growing on (overwintering) in a miniature greenhouse which is under my car port.

My question is this. Do I continue to water the seedlings during the winter? Or do I leave them dry?

keep just damp. They don't need heat in winter, but they won't appreciate frozen roots. I would move them outside as soon as they germinate, otherwise they will get lanky and weak.
