Cloche effort

B3B3 Posts: 24,403

I 've salvaged a fairly deep clear freezer drawer and a flat shelf to use as a base. I think it would make a cloche/cold frame. The trouble is, I haven't a clue what to put in it.

Can I use it for something now or should I wait until early spring?

Should l put it on the ground or would it be better on a table?

It may be better to put it on a table. If you are anything like me I manage to fall over everything at ground level! It would also be more convenient for you to get into etc. You could try planting seeds that need a length of time in the cold to germinate like Aquilegias and Foxgloves.
