I saw this plant in the garden on gardeners world I think it is an Astilbe but can anyone tell me what type?

    Possibly Astilbe 'Bressingham Beauty' but there are many cultivars that look similar to that one - so pretty.

    The astilbe just seems so pointy or conical and this one is like an umbrella, more cluster like.

    maybe it's Filipendula rubra, lots of cultivars to choose from.

    no leaves, no size, no shape of plant, no flowering time, we don't want it too easyimage
