Make sure there are gaps in the fences so they can migrate and meet other partners when they are old enough. They will need a lot of roaming space for food, they can travel up to 2 miles in a night especially if there are 4. Maybe put out dried cat food in a hedgehog feeding station? To keep out cats and foxes of course.
What a lovely story. So sad that hedgehogs are declining so rapidly. I haven't seen any in my neck of the woods (apart from on in the road - always upsets me.)

Looks like fox to me and they do do it in a prominent place.
M P they are in a good location so should be ok
Mark 56 Only fencing around is post and rail to keep the horses out of the garden.
MU Indeed a good result all round ?

Hi Lyn. yes very upsetting to see them in the Road.
Haven't seen the ones we released since. But the food we put out each time goes overnight so assuming all is well.?
