cat issue

hi can anyone give me advice on which plants are best to keep cats out of garden. i have a big problem with cats digging in borders and fowling where there have been. i have also laid artificial grass which the cats are even fowling on. i have a 4 year old and cats mess can be dangerous. any help would be much appreciated

Cats hate being sprayed with water. Use a hose.

Holly' s the thing. Keep your clippings and sprinkle about after planting. Works on foxes and squirrels too.
Water scarecrow. You can buy them online. Works brilliantly.
