  • Flax grows as a wild flower by the roadside in Lincs. If you're not growing it commercially, just scatter a few seed in some common dirt....It seems to flower best in poorish soil. Good luck.

  • That's interesting and they must look lovely growing naturally along the roadside Inglezinho. We have primroses among other not so well known plants/weeds growing on the hedges here. I will sow the seeds in our soil perhaps with a little sand and grit mixed in. 

    Verdun I was just about to sow some flax seeds this morning and I must have had an insight into your message even though I have only just read it, because I thought NO, I will wait until the Spring.!
