Can someone please confirm my suspicion about this plant it looks like a  wiglea  but not 100% image

  • Abelia grandiflora 'Francis Mason'.  Lovely shrub, although I prefer straight A. grandiflora.  Prune in spring, well, more a tidy up, really, unless you need to reduce it drastically.

    Just to be clear this is a large tree just don't know what variety so any ideas greatly welcome lester

    Is it thorny? Looks as if it could be one of the american Hawthorns grown for great autumn colour.

    what are the ends of the fruits like?

    Is it your tree? can you cut open a fruit and see what's inside?

    I wonder about one of the species apples. Malus baccata maybe. Tiny fruit but recognisably apple if you bite one
