Companion plants for Oriental Lilies

Hi I'm completely new on here so please be gentle with me. I've been growing Oriental Lilies for a couple of years and I'm far from an expert. The lilies are growing great,in both borders and pots, but I'm looking at planting companion plants to fill in the gaps around them and underneath/at their feet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

I grow Thunbergia alata around mine. The lilies flower first. I dead head, and the black eyed suzies ramble up the stems and then flower later.

imageimage They are climbing over the dierama and the dead headed lily stalks between the dahlias and the banana. Easy to grow, one seed to a three inch pot in March, drop into spaces in June. They are annuals so if you don't like the effect you have only lost a packet of seed.
