Rose ID

Good afternoon everybody.

Whilst on the school run today I came across a Rose bush which I thought looked like a larger version of mine. Looking at the pictures, do any of you think my youngster could possibly be a baby version of this one.? It seems to have same leaves and flower colour/ type. If you all think it is then at least I now have an idea of how big mine will eventually get! Pleased with it so far as it was only a cutting :)

Thank you!imageimage

As your rose is from a cutting it is almost impossible to know how big it will grow. Most commercial roses are grafted onto root stock and this is what determines their eventual size. A rose grown from a cutting can go its own way, ditto any rose grown from seed. This is the fun of gardening. You never know what you will end up with.

    Ok Ceres.

Thanks for that. It just looked very similar and a possibility. But you're right of course. I am looking forward to seeing what happens with it in time :)
