Stacey lambs ear

Hi, 

i have some white spots on my stachys lambs ear...some have covered the whole leaf!what is wrong with them?

    Its powdery mildew pokhim. Lamb's ear is prone to this.

    I can kill the mildew tho yeah?? Spray it with fungicide??

    They're old leaves, often mildewed as Ladybird says. The new leaves are unaffected so the affliction is over. Fungicide might kill the fungal growth but it won't remove the dead mildew. Those leaves will die off soon, lots more new ones next year. Remove the leaves, problem over

    No need to spray anything pokhim  image

    Follow nut's advice - remove the damaged ones. If I sprayed every damaged leaf in my garden I'd never be doing anything else!  image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
