Plant identification help

Hi,

Would anybody be able to tell me what this lovely flower is that I came across, i cannot seem to figure it out. I also cant quite recall the plant in picture 2. If anyone knows that would be great.

Thank you

  • I think the first one is a Gazania.  I love them, they open in the sun and close up at the end of the day.

cant help with the second sorry. It looks familiar but I can't put a name to it.

  • Yes I agree with Erics Mum - we love our gazania's too - they are so bright and attractive.  Is the 2nd picture an aconite?

    re picture 2

    is the photo recent?

    How tall is it?

    Has it flowered?

It looks like one of the saxifrages but I may be totally misjudging the size

  • Looks like saxifraga arendsii type, mossy saxifrage.
