Plant identification help

Hi,
Would anybody be able to tell me what this lovely flower is that I came across, i cannot seem to figure it out. I also cant quite recall the plant in picture 2. If anyone knows that would be great.

I think the first one is a Gazania. I love them, they open in the sun and close up at the end of the day.
cant help with the second sorry. It looks familiar but I can't put a name to it.
Yes I agree with Erics Mum - we love our gazania's too - they are so bright and attractive. Is the 2nd picture an aconite?

How tall is it?
Has it flowered?
It looks like one of the saxifrages but I may be totally misjudging the size
In the sticks near Peterborough
Looks like saxifraga arendsii type, mossy saxifrage.
