What have I got?

You can see the little husker red seedlings next to these big brutes of things. No idea what they are but hey don't look like my classic garden weeds.
Can anyone identify what I have???

Thanks for reply. I don't think it's that because it smells of pretty much nothing when you crush the leaf. It isnt showing any signs of flowers either. Very confusing.

I think you've cracked it with the fleabane.
Always a little bit disapointing to know you've cultivated a weed with love and care, not the first time and I suspect not the last!
At least I won't have any fleas in that part of my garden!
