Hi,

Has anyone grown Camassias, if so what has been your experience?

Easy to grow, come back year after year, or a waste of time and effort!

Cheers!

I have Camassias in my garden and they come up year after year - about the similar time as the bluebells. They love moist soil and mine is ideal. Very easy.

My white ones are a bit reluctant  but the blue ones do OK

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • I have mine growing in grass in a fairly wet & shady part of the garden and they are a delight every spring, though as Nut says, the blue ones seem more vigorous than the white, as is often the case. They have grown into larger clumps, but didn't much like being split, so now I leave them.
