Tiller clogging weed runners

I thought it may be ground elder but the spacing is wrong.. It is tough! The tiller clogged with this stuff wrapping itself around the blade shaft. I suspect it is going to cause problems so idebrification and advice appreciated.

Wild strawberries? Some say they are very tasty, but I haven't noticed
Hard to judge scale but probably Potentilla reptans, creeping cinquefoil. Very long tough roots.
