Anyone recognise this plant?

Hello, I have this plant in my front garden anD wondered if anyone knows what it is and what I should do with it now it's stopped flowering? Thankyou in advance for any help! Rosi

    I think so Berghill. 

    Everything will die back for winter. You can remove dead flowers and stems now but let the leaves die back on their own

    It's a good idea to put in a marker because when they die down they disappear completely and I have accidentally dug them up and damaged them before now. Bet I'm not the only one, too!

  • Thankyou for your responses, I will leave it after removing the dead flowers. It doesn't seem to die down completely ever, it just stays as it is minus flowers during the winter. Thankyou again for your help!
