Can anyone help me to identify these plants please? The first is a small white flower, low down plant in my wild flower bed. The second and fourth were in the Victorian open garden and the third rather weird looking flower was in a flower show but with no name. Thanks for any help in identifying.imageimageimageimage

Blue spires are a Salvia of some description I think. The next one down is Gloriosa rothschildiana and the final one is Verbena bonariensis. I feel I should know the white one but its escaping me at the moment.

The white one looks like sweet alyssum (little dorrit)

    Salvia caradonna

    Gloriosa lily

     Verbena bonariensis

    It's not the usual angle.

  • Hello Everyone,

I am new on this forum but I hope I could ask for help in identifying a plant. I have rescued this plant from neglect and would like to give a second chance. image

    Thank you.

Welcome to the forum Gosia. I am afraid I do not recognise your plant but I am sure that someone else will be able to help. Is it possible for you to take and upload some more pictures of your plant?

  • Thank you Ladybird and fidgetbones - you have been really helpful - it is always good to learn the names for the plants we photograph. Welcome to this great gardening forum Gosia4 - sorry I don't recognise your plant either, but I do hope you manage to get a name for it tomorrow.

  • Thank you for having a look....it is surely a mysterious  plant.....  :-) image

  • I think it might be a not-very-happy Forsythia.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Hello Gosia and welcome to the forum image

I can't be certain but the leaves on your plant remind me of my forsythia.
