I collected some wild seed in Menorca a couple of years ago. The plant has just flowered. It was collected within metres of the sea on a rock face, so I assume it's some sort of maritime plant, but don't have a clue.

I think it's a limonium of sorts, possibly l. emarginatum.

Well done Hortum! It is a Lemonium. I just checked and there are quite a few that are native to the island. Many of them look very similar so I doubt I'll find out exactly which one. I'm surprised it survived our winters but they haven't been that bad down south in recent years.
