Pieris in a Pot!

I've got a fairly new Piers- forest flame- in a pot and this is a picture of new growth since flowering this year. Seems bit leggy to me, what should I do. Not had one before, the flowers were beautiful.

Thanks Verdun, yes acid compost. Just wasn't sure how much to take off. Do they generally need a bit of a prune after flowering?
