Tall trees

this fungi is growing on damp ground and around an old tree stump. Can someone tell me what fungus it is and is it dangerous. Thanks

There are fungi everywhere, especially where there's dead wood. Most beneficial or harmless, very few harmful. That one looks very harmless.

All part of the big and wonderful world of nature
