Hi Chrissie. I have never thought about myrtle as a hedge although there is no reason why not. I don't think it would like my underlying clay and the strong winds that prevail where I am though and I have to say I have never seen it for sale in any of my local garden centres.

For me it wouldn't be reliably hardy enough to consider as a hedge.
