Trees to hide electricity pylon?
in Plants
We recently moved into a new house with a lovely garden but with one of the very large electricity pylon around 100 metres away in the field beyond, directly in our eyeline. The garden is broadly north-facing, so we could plant some trees to hide the pylon without losing direct sunlight into the garden.
I'd be really interested to receive any recommendations of tall (up to 10 or 15 metres) and slender trees, which are evergreen and full enough to cover the view beyond!
Thanks,
Derek

You don't need a tree that tall to screen the pylon - because you're much shorter than the pylon, and a distance away, perspective means that a shorter tree will do the job.
