ID please!

Any idea what this is? Has produced the odd flower but this is mainly what it looks like all the time!!  Thanks.

    Primula ( primrose). It looks like the slugs have been at the flowers.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Thank you B3. It's a very sorry looking thing which has been in the ground for a couple of years never doing much. I am tempted to pull it up and get rid.

    If you divide it and replant the pieces, there's a good chance it'll rejuvenate it.

    Slugs will have a go at it, but in the right spot, primulas are one of the garden's delights image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Maybe ditch the grass while you're at it. image

    As FG says. Split it and replant the pieces. They're one of my favourites in the garden. They are good for semi shade.
