2 plants I need identifying please. I'm in Italy right now. First one is bush type ground cover which in under planted on an lemon tree. 

the 2nd is everywhere in Italy. Huge vines all over buildings, pergolas..filled with purple flowers

    Your second picture is Bougainvillea and I'm not too sure about the first picture but it could be a type of geranium. I need a second opinion on that one.

    I think the second one might be Actonidia. I don't think it has flowers as such but coloured bracts.

    The first one reminds me of a scented pelargonium I have - does it have velvety leaves and smell a bit like apple??

    Yes I have. I was once fog bound at East Midlands airport when someone suggested it. Delish!

    Not sure on the first one.. Here is the flower. Sorry it's night time here and i have had a couple too many whisky's.

    I think the first one is a scented leaf pelargonium, second one is a bougainvillea.

     I like Tia Maria in my coffee, with double cream floating on top.image
