That's fine Hortico and I respect the fact that you are scientifically blessed., but I am not. Perhaps some Forum members may enjoy the challenge or at least recognize a particular flower similar to a plant that they are growing. I realize not everyone would want to participate - but for me who has limited knowledge of plant names it is interesting to be able to put a name to these Dahlias, some of the Forum members are very knowledgeable and willing to share this gift with others like myself.
Thank you for sharing these lovely photos, I have several the same, I wont show myself up at tryng to photograph them . but I bought mine in packs of three from morrisons. sadly no names . but I too am at a loss at what t hey are AND would appreciate anyone being able to put a name to them. so come on , lets have suggestions!
I have no idea either being new to all this but they are beautiful. I love dahlias! I only have one haha and I hope I don't kill it when I have a go at overwintering it this year!
Ah, your replies made me laugh - thank you - what a tonic you all are. Cheers!
As for your entries in your local show Chrissy the gardener - you're a dark horse, so thank you for sharing - well done and what a beautiful display. Care to share some of your exhibition secrets with us?
