Gerbera seeds

I have a lovely Gerbera which I bought recently. Is it easy to collect seeds and any hints on how and when to sow please.image

    I think Gerbera seeds are quite complicated to grow.

    Try looking on the RHS site, they will have information.

    There are ashtrays of emulsion,
    for the fag ends of the aristocracy.

    Yes, they appear to be quite complicated from looking at the RHS site punkdoc.  I wonder if anyone on this Forum has actually grown them.  They are such pretty flowers. I will give them a go if I am able to collect the seed. Thanks punkdoc.

    I have to admit that I didn't grow this one from seed aym - please don't get the idea that I am that accomplished! However I am tempted to try collecting seed for next year - watch this space .....
