You know how when you want 5 of any particular plant and you go to the garden centre and there are maybe two so you then trawl the garden centres all over the county to try and round up 3 more with no success then go home and drink 3 pints of wine to try and forget what a horrible day you had.
Well I have not had a day like that, me and hubby have been looking for euonymous harlequin at a reasonable price i.e not £15 a plant to finish off our front garden so we can forget about it for the winter.
Popped into the local garden centre to find it bereft of any kind of euonymous apart from 5 big pots euonymous silverstone sitting in a tray priced at £4.00 each.
Well exactly the same as harlequin colourwise but just smaller leaves and much more appropriate for front of border plants.
Result! Garden finsihed for the year
