passion fruit

Hi we have several passion fruit plants in our garden in Southampton they produce a lot of yellow/orange fruit.i do not know the variety but wonder if they are edible

I imagine you're referring to one of the Passiflora varieties

The fruits of these plants are edible when ripe, but apparently are not particularly tasty.
