Buddleia

JudojubJudojub Posts: 108

I was given a buddleia cutting which I have put in the ground but now think that was perhaps  bit premature as it's still so small. Plus I think ive put it in completely the wrong place anyway image  Should I pull it back up and repot it?

Sorry everybody. It's just been bugging me for a few days.imageimage

Try to ignore the very randomly placed cyclamen!!

I'd pot it up and let it get to decent size. It will root and grow where you have it, but it'll look better if you let it get to decent size first..  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

It does look a bit young to be sent out into the world. I would pot it up and leave it in a sheltered spot until it's a bit bigger. Those soft juicy leaves will be vulnerable to slugs and snails.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Poor wee mite. Give him a steak.

Don't make rash promises. Something dead exciting might happen later and you might want to join in. Of course it might not...... image

and if that's a flower forming at the top, cut it off. Roots and leaves are what it needs at this stage
