  • I have a buddleia which is grown in a large pot, it grows well with lots of flowers but the leaves start to go brown and it seems to die back.  What can I do to prolong the flowering during the summer and to stop the leaves going brown and falling off?

Add some General purpose compost to fluff it up Jackie. It tends to set like wet concrete if not. All the regular throng on here . Haven't you been on your holidays yet.

  • Thank you, I do remove flower heads religiously.  It may be the soil and I will try again next year.
