Lavandula augustifolia

B3B3 Posts: 24,482

I bought a multipack of very healthy looking lavender in lidl today.

Should I put them straight in the ground or pot them up over winter? They will be outside if potted.

In London. Keen but lazy.

They're about 4 or five inches high and plump not spindly. They look like they're in their second year

Clay soil. London climate. Can plant any aspect

I think I'd pot them on and protect them for the worst of winter. Clay is not their favourite home
