Moving my large Fuschia
Hello There
I am moving house at the end of the month and I want to take my large Fuschia with me. It is in a half barrel but I am afraid the base is rotted. I will need to put in into another large plant pot to move it, It is in full bloom now and looking great. My neighbour has told me to cut it back to move it what do you think? I am afraid if I do that the frost may get it in the winter. Your advice is needed please. Thank You.

you might want to reduce its top growth right before you move, purely so that I doesn't get smashed when you move it. cut branches let in less bugs than snapped branches - and you will snap branches!
you can also repot now into a more stable pot if it will make it easier to move in a month, doesn't have to be pretty, just a cheap large black plastic pot, at least then you don't have to worry about it getting broken or the bottom falling out as you move it and you can put it in a nice pot when you get it to your new home
Take a few cuttings just in case.
