Tree seed indentification

I am fortunate to have lots of trees where I live but one is really driving me mad! Every August it sheds seeds in such abundance, the entire house (inside!) is covered in these teeny tiny seeds. After all these years I've learned to live with it but I'd really LOVE to know from which tree they emanate!

Some sort of birch?
Definitely Birch, probably one of the two native species, Betula pendula or B.pubescens.
