They are certainly being a bit premature with the leaf browning thing. Have you been watering them regularly since they were planted or have you eased up a bit with the watering regime over the past couple of months? Bare root plants take a while to establish and it is essential to spoil them a bit until they have developed a decent root system. How tall are the plants?
Hi yes i kept them watered when we had a dry spell earlier on but weve had a lot of rain since then the plants are now 3 feet tall i ve been feeding them bonemeal as well do you think a watering would do any good ? the Nursery i bought them from said the plants could be stressed and just keep an eye on them hopefully they.ll be ok in spring not sure
don't feed them any more, a plant in that state isn't well enough for food. Don't drown them, one good watering, a can full each then leave to dry out for a before the next one.

They are like Goldilocks. Not too much and not too little. As long as they aren't allowed to dry out they should be fine. Keep them well watered but not too wet and don't give them any more food until next year. I'd cut them down by about a foot but I'm sure someone will be along to tell you to leave them alone.
