HI there, my neighbour is not keen to replace our fence and so I'm going to plant a to create a proper border and some privacy.
I'd like quite it to be quite tall (6 or 7 foot) and preferably I'd like the plants to grow quite quickly, since I know there's probably a max size I can physically plant myself.
What are my best hedge plant options?

It is always better to get young whips (as they call them) to start your hedge as they establish more quickly. It really depends on what sort of hedge you would like. Deciduous, evergreen, Winter interest, flowering, mixed etc. There are many sites you can browse online that will assist you in making your decision.
