Which plant have a small rootsystem?
I have a plum and a apple tree in the garden it was planted like 3 years ago.. but i really want to plant something around in a circle around them, but i also dont want to kill the trees 
So i guess best thing is to plant something that dont have a very big and deep rootsystem..
So i was wonder if someone know what plants have big and which have small rootsystem?

You may find that the small plants will suffer from competition from the fruit trees for water and food. Small cyclamens might do ok as they store their food in the corms and don't mind some shade. Some hardy geraniums may also be fine in that situation.
