Plant identifying

Hi,

I am an absolute beginner to gardening, and want to start making my garden nice for next year, I love pottering but currently don't have green fingers. In my garden I have this plant (or might even be a weed!) growing and it seems quite sturdy so I want to move it to an area in my garden where I have another one growing, as its growing too big where it currently is, and seems to be the only thing that will survive in the location where the second one is growing.  So I would like to identify it and then know when can I move it?

thanks

Paula

Hi Paula. It is a plant called Bergenia - not a weed.

I should have added that they are fairly tough and could be moved now as long as you water them well for a time after they are transplanted.
