How tall are your Sunflowers?
So this year I was forced by my partner to grow some sunflowers from seed. I'm really not a big fan of them however I was told I had no choice 
So 4 months on and I have to say I'm really impressed with them! I know the seed packet read 'giant sunflowers' but I didn't think they would reach 12ft! It's 12ft tall with one main huge head, with 5 smaller ones and another 2 still yet to open! Mind you even my cosmos purity has grown to about 6ft so the compost I put down must be some good stuff!
How big are yours this year?

I actually pinched my sunflower seeds from a packet of bird seeds, on the off chance ;-)
I think these were only planted end of June time :-( will i still get flowers this year?

Hmm not sure but you could do. I have a small sunflower in the front garden in a pot that has small buds forming so there is a chance you could still have it flowering soon.
