i don't think the leaves on 2 are Salvia patens leaves but that's one of the few salvias I grow so don't recognise this one.

I had trouble with the linaria, I always have a problem with flowers cut and lying down image

  • It's great getting answers so quickly! I saw the Salvia in a young gardeners show garden @ Harrogate but forgot to write down name and I love the colours of leaves & flowers, really want one!

Sorry about the Linaria, tons of the stuff round here.

    Maybe Salvia guaranitica ?

  • Just google Salvia patens and don't think it's that, the leaves were really bright green.

the leaves look quite yellow, are they or is the light?

  • I remember them being lime greenish which I suppose could be seen as on the yellow spectrum

  • It was very sunny and bright light unlike outside right now!

  • It's funny you can google a plant and think it's that one then a different image, same plant don't look like it. Just did that with Salvia guaranitica and thought yes then another pic -no!
