I just love the high pitch buzz as the bees vibrate to shake the pollen loose. Charlotte - you may be a thug but my bees love you!

They are great plants Ladybird. Valuable here for late nectar for bees. It's tough for them early on as our seasons are a bit later, so I like to have plenty for them now. The sphaerocaphalon alliums are covered in bees just now, and the anemones will take over - they're usually end of this month.

ooh - I mentioned that white one to you yesterday - this is it - Whirlwind

Still a nice open flower for them to get in  image

    And somewhere on the hill
Inside the past we hear the bells
    Catching only parts of thoughts
    And fragments of ourselves
    Till we begin
    Again
