Plant Identification Help

My parents have put me in charge of taking care of their yard and helping them with cataloging what they have and when to trim it etc.  However, I can't seem to identify one of the plants.  It has longer almost magnolia looking leaves, but has some green berry/acorn looking things on it.  It currently is about 7 feet tall and about that wide as well.  It is definitely some sort of evergreen bush, but i can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.  Here is a picture.

Its most likely the California Bay Laurel, Umbellularia californica.
