It was supposed to be a geranium...

Can anyone hazard a guess? Assume it's a weed that's cunningly let me nurture it since March!

Well it's not a geranium and it's not a laurel either -it does look familiar but my brain cant ID it -  let's wait for a flower

It looks vaguely like my evening primrose seedling leaves but bear in mind I keep thinking that they're dandelions. image

Not evening primrose I don't think. Vaguely like a pepper!

Ah. Now I did plant pepper 'pompei', possibly they got mixed up. Is it late for pepper though? Or early? I don't know anymore.

I have one that I know is a pepper and it's a tiny weedy thing. I'll have to compare them properly.

the leaves that aren't all screwed up look like peppers.

It won't be evening primrose, that only makes a rosette in the first year. and laurel would never get that big from March.

When do you have to start growing evening primrose plant pauper? I really want some for next year in my garden...When should I sew the seeds? I don't have a greenhouse...can it be done on a window sill? Sorry to detract from the original question.

I only have mine by accident Wake. My neighbour gave me some in flower last year and they didn't really take so I gave them a good shake after the flowers had finished and voila! This year I have seedlings.

    Early Summer for seeds apparently.

Sorry for hi-jacking...as you were. image
