Definitely nasturtium, probably "planted" by a bird.
Tropaeolum tuberosum but I don't know which one. It's lovely.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies. Birds are a distinct probability as we get lots of them here. It dies back in the winter and comes up again in the summer.
Well you know... I did Latin at school.

I seem to remember that this produced a lot of 13 year olds saying blah blah blah...
It did come in handy when I decided to learn Italian a few years back. I never went to war with them though.
