Climbers
Hi everyone
I hope someone can help our neighbors who we r not on speaking terms with have planted some climbers in three places up the joining fence line which is wrapping itself around so when I come to treat it I will find it near impossible it is a joining fence that the council had erected but both myself and my neighbor have bought our properties the fence is on the left of or back garden as u look out of the back door PLEASE HELP....

That is a bit of a problem and I'm not sure of the legalities of cutting bits of the climber off to treat the fence. There are plant friendly treatment for fences so you could just put that on as carefully as possible and if any got on the climbers there would be no harm done. Your other alternative would be to plant a hedge on your side and forget about treating the fence.
Just had another thought on that problem. If the neighbours have planted climbers their side of the fence then they are obviously not worried about treating their side so half a treated fence is rather counter productive. I would go with the hedge option. Nicer to look out on as well.
