Couple of ID's please!

Have these 2 plants growing in a friends garden.First one is about 5ft tall and just about to bloom,it's probably a weed but looks nice! :-

Second one is probably in the raspberry family as the fruits are a bit like them.Has big leaves and flowers a couple of inches across:-

    Top one is Eupatorium purpureum (not a weed). Not sure about the bottom one but could it be a Tayberry or something similar?

    Looks like a Rubus.

    R. odoratus maybe?
