Planting out potted raspberries

I bought a pot of Autumn fruiting raspberries and planted out earlier this year.  I have a sinking feeling that I was supposed to separate each individual cane from the pot and replant a distance apart?  What I actually did was soak the whole pot for a bit then plant into the ground without separating the canes.

Big mistake or nothing to worry about?

Don't worry  - they'll still grow and you'll still get raspberries.  You can dig them up and split them in February when you cut the canes down to the ground image

Andy: just remember there are people out there who don't know which way to plant a bulb. You'll not have been the only person to have done this!
