Poppy (ladybird) plant

Hi all, new to gardening and really enjoy it. however it seems my favourite plant has decided to throw a wobbler and looks as though it's dying off whilst the rest are doing fine. could anyone possibly tell me why is this so? It was doing great one day and started to decline the next. Quite gutted really. any info would be great. Cheers.

It's an annual, so will die after flowering. Let the seed heads go Brown, then scatter them around for next year.
