Another one from my 'new' garden.  Over a metre tall, perennial, started flowering last week.  Any clues? Thanksimage

    Hi Smallswan!

    I think it might be Eupatorium - commonly called Joe Pye Weed.  Insects love it...

    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Thanks Liriodendron: never heard of it!  No wonder I couldn't find it.  There will be more pics soon.
