Get rid of the Fat Hen (3rd pic.)  The flowers don't get any more exciting than what you see now and if you let it seed you will be pulling it up for the rest of the time you live in that property.  Wild flower it may be, but pest it certainly is! image

Red Deadnettle (& White Deadnettle as well) is very good for bumblebees. I don't find it a particularly troublesome weed and it's easy to pull out where you don't want it.

THOUGH OF COURSE IF YOU ARE ALREADY OVERRUN WITH FAT HEN TAKE HEART. IT IS A POPULAR INGREDIENT IN SOUTH ASIAN CUISINE.

Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
  • Thanks everyone you've been really helpful!

Bob I was thinking the same thing lol think it might be more trouble than it's worth!!

Ladybird4 it was a Natures Haven easy wildflower mix. On the pack it only mentions ox eye daisy, cornflower, corn poppy and corn marigold but obviously there is quite a big range. I've also had borage sprouting up too image
