Song Thrush
For the first time in what must be years, we had a song thrush in our garden
But then I saw a pesky cat It would be typical wouldn't it but I called up our black lab who hurtled down there like a runaway truck. Hopefully the song thrush can come back and dine on the masses of snails we have

As long as your black lab doesn't scare it away either
The blackbirds chase away my local thrush?
Hopefully not Ladybird
We get plenty of blackbirds here Victoria but keeping my fingers crossed they won't upset the thrush.
Whilst dead heading roses for the last few days, I noticed a young sparrow/thrush? hopping around near me, very friendly little bird until one of our dogs appeared then it scooted off. This has happened a few times. Amazing what you see when you are out and about .... nature doing it's thing
OUR SONG THRUSH IS IN THE HABIT OF SINGING FROM THE VERY TOP OF A BLUE CEDAR IN OUR NEIGHBOUR'S GARDEN. NOT FOR LONG AS THE PESKY TREE HAS BEEN HIT BY SIROCOCCUS. SOON FOR THE CHOP I FEAR.
